University of Virginia holds deep meaning for both families, so they wanted a location to portray that. Though the (adult) children were nervous that the elderly parents might struggle to keep up during the shoot, Jamie said Erika was patient and never rushed them.
“She was very accommodating for our elderly parents who couldn’t move too quickly, while keeping it light and fun for the rest of the family,” Jamie said. “She put everyone at ease with her calm and sweet approach.”
While coordinating colors can be fun, the Kim and Shim families recommend going with a wider range of colors so everyone can express themselves. During the University of Virginia photoshoot, the families featured a range of whites, blues, and grays that blended perfectly together in the photos while celebrating each individual’s style.
