Nerves: Any Worries Before the Session?
Bethany and Meghan had similar worries about posing for their headshots. Meghan shares, “Ericka was already on it [posing] and gave great direction to amplify the photos.” Bethany elaborates, “Erika was so good with posing ideas and making sure I liked what the photos looked like throughout the session!”
Advice: What Should Other People Know Before Getting Headshots?
Getting professional headshots, especially for the first time, is often nerve wracking. While the ladies experienced some of those nerves, they have advice for people in a similar situation. Bethany shares, “Just relax! Know what you want and Erika will help guide you along the whole way!” Meghan has extra advice, such as bringing multiple outfits and keeping an open mind, since new pose ideas were some of her favorites.

Bethany and Meghan enjoyed their joint actor headshots at Atelier Studio in Lynchburg, VA. Bethany describes the experience as “fun” because “Erika made it super easy and chill! She was so quick at getting a great shot almost immediately!” Meghan adds, “Ericka showed us our photos to get feedback during the session, which I really liked. It helped me see what I did and didn’t like and she changed according to preference. I would definitely reach out for future sessions.”
